Our Culture

At Yamim Yeshivah Academy, we recognize the great leap into independence that comes with the transition from graduating high school and moving into the next stage of life. It is crucial at this stage that young adults begin to form the healthy habits that will set them up for a healthy life.

With this in mind, we have developed a structured learning schedule that is balanced by equally stimulating extracurriculars. Students will have special weekly excursions to many of Israel’s finest attractions, meaningful workshops, as well as biblical locations that will bring the Tanach to life. Additionally, our weekly business mentorship program pairs our students with some of the most inspiring and successful Jewish business leaders to provide deeply impactful guidance.

We are located near the beach, parks with outdoor workout equipment, and hiking trails. We encourage our students to make time for exercise. Our close affiliation with the local shul and kollel facilitates that our students will have host families nurturing them during their year in Israel. We are committed to providing our students the right balance in their schedule to keep them both healthy and motivated.

Life on Campus

Life at Yamim Yeshiva Academy offers a unique blend of spiritual depth and coastal serenity. Nestled in Ir Yamim, one of Israel’s most beautiful seaside neighborhoods, the yeshiva is just a short walk from the Mediterranean beach, where students often unwind after a day of learning. The surrounding area is filled with piano coffee shops, outdoor cafés, boutique stores, and green promenades, creating an inspiring and relaxed atmosphere that balances rigorous Torah study with modern living. Evenings often include group walks to the shore, farbrengens in nearby parks, and spontaneous learning sessions over espresso — cultivating a warm, vibrant, and growth-oriented campus experience.

Why Choose YYA?

All too often, we see young men conclude their time in yeshivah soaring spiritually, but struggling to transition into the “real world.” They know how to study a daf of Gemara, but are not necessarily ready to be productive members of society, to make adequate parnassa (finances), and to be able to provide the basics for the home they certainly wish to build. Yamim Yeshivah Academy is trailblazing a new yeshivah experience targeting specifically this issue. Our model is designed to inculcate in our students the healthy balance between the spiritual and the physical aspects of their lives. Everything from our educators to our location have been selected with this in mind. Moreover, students need to be able to connect to and feel understood by their educators and mentors. As such we have carefully selected a staff that is youthful and has tremendous, personal experience in yeshivot, universities, and the “real world.” We are confident that our team provides a unique balance between relatability to students as well as professionality with sage counsel.
